As the pioneer of
artificial hair and its implantation method, Nido Ltd. has been
in research and development for over 30 years and has presented
more than one hundred reports at academic societies in Japan
and internationally.
In addition, we have developed world class leading edge technology
(worldwide patent) for chemically bonding collagen onto the
surface of artificial hairs, leading to the successful development
of our fourth generation Z type artificial hair with high biocompatibility
with natural body tissue. With this, we have succeeded in greatly
increasing fixation rates, while greatly reducing rates of inflammation,
for which we have received praise from doctors throughout the
world. In 2003, the Nido artificial hair and artificial hair
implantation method gained official recognition as an effective
surgical method for treating baldness at the International Society
of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) Congress held in New York.
